Our Accounting Team

Ailsa obtained her Bachelor of Business degree from USQ in 1988 and gained her qualifications as a certified practicing accountant in 1993. Ailsa has over 19 years experience in audit having worked in Canberra, Brisbane and now Toowoomba.

She has gained vast experience auditing a range of entities including local government councils, state and commonwealth government departments, not for profit entities, schools, associations, clubs, companies and trust funds.

Ailsa's attention to details ensures that your audit is carried out as per legislative compliance.  Outside of work, Ailsa enjoys travelling.

John holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in accounting and electronic commerce after graduating in 2004 from the University of Southern Queensland.

He obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) status in 2007, and is fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. John has over 10 years of experience in taxation, business services, audit and other areas of public practice.

John has extensive experience in advising a broad range of clients including small to medium family enterprises and high net worth individuals.  John’s professional approach to his clients is only surpassed by his attention to detail and fact.

John is married to Sara and outside of work he enjoys playing sport and spends time assisting community organisations.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, completing her studies at the University of Southern Queensland in 2010. She has over four years experience in public practice.

Melanie specialises in area of self managed superannuation funds (SMSF) and has very close contact with clients to assure that their funds comply with superannuation and tax legislation.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her young family, reading singing and playing guitar.

Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Business degree from QUT in 2003 and her qualifications as a certified practicing accountant in 2008

She has over 8 years of experience in the public practice area of taxation, business services having worked in Brisbane and Toowoomba.

Sarah has extensive experience in advising a broad range of clients including small to medium family enterprises.  Sarah’s cares about her clients and maintains contact with them so she can provide the best tax solutions available.

Sarah is married to Luke and outside of work enjoys reading and travelling and playing with her pets.
