Sonia studied externally through Deakin University, completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2012. She graduated with a double major in Accounting and e-Business. Sonia holds a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting. She has over twelve years accounting experience and over twenty-five years practice in administration and bookkeeping.

Sonia is married to Cameron and assists him with the running of their small farm. They have two young children and in her “spare time,” Sonia enjoys driving her children back and forwards from soccer, roller derby and dance.
