Sara commenced work at Horizon Accounting Group in August 2016.  With over twenty years experience in public practice, Sara has extensive knowledge and expertise in providing business and taxation advice for small to medium family enterprises, primary producers and high net worth individuals.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business with majors in accounting and administrative management, after graduating with Distinction from the University of Southern Queensland in 2005.  She obtained her Chartered Accountant (CA) status in 2008 with merit in Taxation.  Sara is also recognised by The Tax Institute as a Chartered Tax Advisor.  

Sara prides herself on the relationships that she develops with her clients and the personalised service that she delivers.

Sara is married with three young children.  She currently holds several voluntary positions on not-for-profit organisations including her children’s school board.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking with her children and visiting her family’s lucerne farm at Kalbar.
