Matt has over twenty years in public practice and also two years with a multi-national company as a tax accountant.

Matt completed his Bachelor of Business degree in 1991 at the University of Southern Queensland. He is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in accounting and taxation to various industries sectors and is a registered tax agent. Matt also specialises in superannuation and retirement planning advice and is a Registered SMSF Auditor.

Away from work, Matt is a struggling Golfer and a strong advocate for the arts in the Toowoomba region, except for dance concerts where he is yet to find an excuse to miss that will satisfy the three strong ladies in his family.
