Bec completed her Bachelor of Business and Commerce majoring in Accounting in 2020 at USQ, adding to her Bachelor of Business Majoring in HR. She then went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting, becoming a full member of CA ANZ at the beginning of 2025.

Bec is an avid supporter of the arts and is on the executive committee for both The Toowoomba Eisteddfod and The Eisteddfod Council of Queensland, assisting to run these events annually. She enjoys helping with local musical productions, often assisting in the costume department or behind the scenes. She is the secretary of the Fairholme College P&F Committee and assists the Empire Theatre Foundation. She enjoys planning events for Horizon staff and their families as the self-appointed chair of the Horizon Council for Company Morale and baking morning tea every Tuesday which has become a much anticipated weekly event for our team.
