Tim has over 33 years experience in public practice in Brisbane and Toowoomba.

After completing his university qualifications in 1985 at USQ Toowoomba, he then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. Tim has significant involvement in franchising and pharmacy sectors including valuation, due diligence and structuring.

He is a registered company auditor and is responsible for the control of the firm’s audit section, in this roll he has managed contract audits of local government on behalf of the Queensland Audit Office, and has experience in commercial, not for profit sectors, clubs and Building Authority Service audits. He is also a registered tax agent and has provided taxation and accounting services to a wide range of clients and industries over many years.

Tim’s community involvement includes past Chairman of the Board of Lourdes Care and membership of the Rotary Club of Toowoomba, he is currently holds the portfolio of Assistant Governor.

Tim is married to Terri with 3 teenage daughters, Bridget, Roisin and Mairead, and is a keen golfer and avid follower of Cricket and Rugby League.

Matt has 15 years in public practice  and also two years with a multi-national company as a tax accountant.

Matt completed his Bachelor of Business degree in 1991 at the University of Southern Queensland, and then completed his CPA qualifications in 2000. He has extensive experience in accounting and taxation to various industries sectors and is a registered tax agent. Matt specialises in superannuation and retirement planning advice and has a broad range of clients including property developers, real estate, legal practice and primary producers.

Matt is a member of the Rotary Club of Toowoomba South and treasurer of the Toowoomba Choral Society production’s committee. He enjoys playing golf at the Toowoomba Golf Club and has a long association with University Cricket Club.

Jeff has 31 years in public practice, having been a former principal with a public listed company owned large accounting practice.

Jeff completed his Bachelor of Business degree at USQ (formerly DDIAE)  in 1984, and then completed his Chartered Accountants qualifications in 1985. He is also a Certified Practicing Accountant and a registered tax agent and has extensive experience in accounting and taxation to various industries sectors. Jeff specialises in management advice and business performance results using “state of the art” software to measure KPIs, and has a broad range of clients including primary production, fresh food manufacturing, transport and real estate businesses.

Jeff enjoys playing tennis in his spare time and on most weekends at his
farming property attending to the Brangus cattle.  Jeff is married to Tanya and
has two children.

Alison has 22 years in public practice.

Alison completed her studies at the University of Southern Queensland in 1991 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business , and  then completed her CPA qualifications in 2005. She has extensive experience in accounting and taxation to various industries sectors. Alison is a registered tax agent and has a broad range of clients including building contractors, primary producers, transport and private investors. Prior to joining Horizon Accounting Group in 2010, she was a Principal with a large accounting firm owned by a public listed company. Alison cares about her clients.

Alison is an active member of Toowoomba Choral Society. She enjoys riding her Harley Davidson motor cycle when time permits and is married to Michael.
